The company “Dunaisudoremont” performed work on the m / v “Khilamaja” in the amount confirming the class of the Register of Shipping.
The most significant works during the repair were the installation, start-up and adjustment of the ballast water treatment plant of the company “ALFA LAVAL”. This is the first time that the plant is assembling such an installation on Volga-type ships, which has led to some difficulties in its installation and laying of additional pipelines. After the completion of the work on the start-up of the installation, water samples were taken before and after processing for laboratory studies. The results confirmed the good quality of the treated water.
